THE RECENT COLD snap has forced the GAA to switch this weekend’s AIB All-Ireland hurling club semi-finals from Thurles after the pitch at Semple Stadium failed an inspection today.
With forecasts predicting sub-zero temperatures over the coming days, the decision has been taken to move the two games that were supposed to take place as a double header on Saturday.
The game between Portaferry (Down) and Kilmallock (Limerick) has been switched to Cusack Park, Mullingar but will still have a 2pm throw-in.
The second semi-final — featuring Gort (Galway) and Ballyhale Shamrocks (Kilkenny) — has been moved to O’Connor Park, Tullamore and will also throw-in at 2pm.
The Allianz Division III game between Tipperary and Limerick which was due to be played at Semple on Sunday will now take place at 2pm in Templetuohy.

That’s all well and good but apparently Juve only want to pay 50m for him , whereas others are willing to pay 75m .
@Adam Gibson: Juve are willing to pay his agent, Raiola, €30 million. The other clubs have baulked at this. Let’s see what Ajax do.
@Mister Gooey: Eff effing off! Seriously, that’s disgusting. Couple of years ago 30m got you a world class player seems these days it just gets you in the door to talk to him.
@Mister Gooey: I supposed it depends on what your reading ,so many different stories going about , but this is the only reason why I wouldn’t like to see the lad at OT( not that it’s happening) Your man only wants to fill his own pockets. Wait as see no matter were the lad goes in a two time that mouthpiece with start making noises again, just like he’s done and been doing with Pogba
